Before I started training with Ruben, I had never done any kind of personal training or any sort of structured strength work. I was strictly Pilates and an occasional spin class. I was also coming off a major surgery and had spent several months feeling sick, weak, and pretty out of shape. In my early 20s, I was 300 pounds, stuck in a desk job I hated, and living with a herniated disc, chronic knee pain, and constant stiffness. I felt trapped in my own body and I honestly thought that was just adulthood...

Training started as a last resort. Little by little, it gave me my life back.

Over the years I lost 100 pounds, rebuilt my body, and returned to high performance, including competing in Muay Thai. More importantly, I learned how to train in a way that restores the body instead of breaking it down. That is why my coaching is built around strengthening the joints in balance with muscles, measurably rebuilding range of motion at a pain-free level, and real recovery habits that fit busy family life.

Today, I help driven parents and former athletes get out of chronic knee, lower back, and shoulder pain so they can train hard, play with their kids, and feel proud of the body they live in.
